Your data is our business. Anaplan takes security seriously and it is built into everything we do, from our architecture through to our processes.

Data encryption

All sensitive communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using SSL3.0/TLS1.0 with a 1024bit key and 128bit encryption. Our certificate is supplied by Thawte one of the world's leading Certificate Authorities.

Data access

Access to your data is controlled with a user name and password. All passwords are hashed with a one-way cryptographic hash. This means your password can never be read, by anyone. Our support staff do not have any access to your password details and only have the ability to trigger the Reset Password process on your request.

As a Workspace Administrator, you get full visibility and control over who can access and who can see your data. Users added to and removed from a Workspace are at your complete discretion.

Access to data files and databases is rigorously controlled and limited to only a small number of key Anaplan staff. All user activity is logged and your data is protected by regular onsite and offsite backups.

Architecture

Anaplan is built using the Java Enterprise Edition and has an industrial, multi-tier architecture. Security has been built into all layers of the solution.

Firewalls and an enterprise grade network design protect the systems and your data from unauthorized access.

Security testing & assessments

Anaplan performs security tests on our software and we regularly scan our network and systems for vulnerabilities. Addtionally third-party security assessments are conducted to ensure that your data is safe with us.

Physical security

Anaplan uses one of the world's best hosting providers: Rackspace.
