Fred Laluyaux, CEO of Anaplan, kicked the HUB 2014 conference off on Tuesday, May 13 with some big news: Anaplan has completed its Series D round of $100 million in financing. But that was just a warm-up to a lively three-hour keynote session that gave a glimpse into what Anaplan has planned for the year ahead, and showcased how a number of high-powered customers are using Anaplan to make business decisions to fuel their growth.
Anaplan’s Ongoing Evolution to Meet Your Hyper-Growth, Hyper-Change Organization Needs
In the last 12 months, Anaplan has tripled our user base. We’re expanding the company very quickly, up to 200 employees and 9 new offices that we’ve opened internationally in the last 9 months. Why are we expanding so aggressively? Because we realize the challenges we are helping companies with are global. And to enable a true partnership with our customers, we need to be located near them.
We’re making sure, however, that this hyper-growth we’re experiencing doesn’t come at the cost of losing sight of our core values: disruption, speed, accountability, and integrity.
We focused this year’s Hub conference around Hyper-Growth and Hyper-Change, because these were the recurring themes that we are hearing from our clients. On the surface, our customers may seem to have different challenges, but at the core, all of our customers have some common needs and challenges:
– Real-time insight
– Empowering users to make decisions
– Centralizing control while still having local flexibility
– Having “One version of the truth”
– Enhancing compliance and auditability
– Business clarity
– Being data-driven
– Removing departmental silos
Over the course of the conference, we highlighted how our customers have tackled these challenges, so you can put their best practices in action. We’ll be sharing highlights from those sessions here on the blog over the coming weeks.
