Silicon Milkroundabout event wrap-up

The Silicon Milkroundabout – one of the biggest and most high profile technical networking and recruitment events in Europe, was held in London a few weeks ago. Over 175 of the hottest tech companies were exhibiting at the event, and thousands of the tech industry’s top talent attended. The two-day conference primarily focused on Product, Design and Engineering.

The Anaplan team that participated in the conference included Jack Whyte (Global VP of Engineering), Howard Bartfield (Architect), Mark Jessop (Senior Java Developer), David Walker (DevOps Build Engineer & Architect) and Juhani Pelli (Senior JavaScript Engineer). We all had a great time connecting with the many interested candidates and industry professionals over the two days – this was the first year that Anaplan attended the event, and we were delighted to win one of the conference’s five awards – ours was for “Best Newcomer” (complete with a Golden Pineapple trophy!)

Silicon Milkroundabout served as a great opportunity for us to connect and network with professionals from all areas of Engineering, UX/UI, QA, architecture, product owners and more, and at all levels of experience…and the interest in Anaplan was huge!

We are always looking to expand the Anaplan team in a variety of technical roles, particularly looking for experienced Java and JavaScript Engineers in London and York, and I encourage anyone interested to look at our careers page or contact me directly (
