Anaplan named in top 10 Most Innovative Enterprise Software Companies by Fast Company
San Francisco, February 17, 2016 – Anaplan, the enterprise planning cloud company, was named to Fast Company’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Enterprise Software for 2016. Anaplan’s business planning and modeling platform enables a new approach to how businesses plan, execute, simulate changes, and rapidly course-correct their operations.
Anaplan was recognized for “drastically reimagining the lowly spreadsheet” and placed alongside companies such as Amazon, Slack, Box, and DocuSign. Grant Halloran, Anaplan Chief Marketing Officer, noted that “Fast Company’s most innovative software companies are redefining how knowledge workers collaborate and get work done. We are disrupting the technologies that were designed decades ago and continue to bog companies down with slow process and low value work.”
“We are very proud of the Anaplan team and the innovations we continue to bring to market,” said Chief Product Officer, Simon Tucker. “We are looking forward to unveiling the next wave of planning innovations at our San Francisco Hub16 conference in May.”
Most Innovative Companies is one of Fast Company’s most significant and highly anticipated editorial efforts of the year. To produce the 2016 list, the magazine’s editors spent a full year gathering and analyzing data on companies around the globe. For the first time, Fast Company enlisted machine intelligence to help inform the list: Quid, a San Francisco-based startup, used its software to create topographical maps of innovation across more than 40 sectors of the economy. “This year’s package—which includes top ten lists in 27 sectors—emphasizes the breadth of companies with progressive, agile business models, cultures of creativity, and ability to adapt in today’s fast-paced world,” said Fast Company editor Robert Safian.
Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies issue (March 2016) is now available in app form via iTunes and on newsstands beginning February 23rd.
