About the speakers:

Simon brings over 15 years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence to Anaplan. Prior to Anaplan, Simon was head of product marketing for Adaytum until the acquisition by Cognos in 2003. Simon went on to product and corporate marketing roles at Hyperion Solutions.

Ron Dimon has been designing and implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Connected Planning solutions for 18 years. The author of “Enterprise Performance Management Done Right” (Wiley, 2013) and the forthcoming “Connected Planning: A Playbook for Agile Decision Making” (Wiley, Dec. 2018), Ron helps clients improve their strategic, financial, and operational performance through better planning, analytics, and decision-making. He is a Managing Director in Finance & Enterprise Performance and is Deloitte’s Global Lead Alliance Partner for Anaplan.

Chandana Gopal is Research Manager for IDC Business Analytics software responsible for the advanced and predictive analytics practice. Ms. Gopal’s core research coverage includes the vendor and buyer research in business intelligence and predictive analytics. Based on her background in integration and analytics, Ms. Gopal’s research includes a particular emphasis on how analytics is being embedded into many different software applications, and how end users requirements are driving technology design.

Chandana Gopal has been an analyst IDC for several years. Early on as an analyst she covered CRM applications, but more recently her work has been in integration middleware covering markets such as API management, file sync and share, and B2B integration. Ms. Gopal’s research specialty includes doing detailed technical evaluations driven by her prior experience in Deloitte Consulting and Wipro Information Systems, where she focused on software implementations and business strategy development.

Jeff Brobst is responsible for driving optimal financial results through the implementation and management of world-class processes and systems in addition to developing high performance teams. His expertise not only relates to financial planning processes and systems implementations but also accounting & business process management. Prior to joining Seagate, Jeff held a similar position at Intel Security after serving in various leadership positions at McAfee, Symantec and Atari. He holds a B.A. in Economics: University of California, Berkeley and an MBA: Santa Clara University.
