Anaplan adds SaaS veterans Jack Caragol and Justin Edwards to its Go-to-Market leadership team

New leadership appointments in go-to-market underscore Anaplan’s commitment to driving strategic growth and operational excellence
MIAMI, FL – Anaplan, the leading scenario planning and analysis platform for enterprise decision-making, today announced the appointment of two new senior executives to its go-to-market (GTM) Leadership Team.
Jack Caragol has joined Anaplan as SVP and Managing Director for the Americas. He will lead the company’s strategic initiatives and operations across Anaplan’s largest sales organization. A software veteran with over 27 years of experience, Caragol comes to Anaplan after more than eight years with ServiceNow, where he most recently served as the Global VP of Sales and GTM for the industry leader’s CRM, Finance, and Supply Chain businesses. He led multiple businesses during his tenure with ServiceNow, including the NOW CRM business, which he helped scale from $10M to $1.4B in ARR. As Anaplan’s new sales leader for the Americas, Caragol will be tasked with accelerating revenue growth and further strengthening the company’s position in the region.
“I’m thrilled to join Anaplan at such a pivotal moment in its growth journey,” said Caragol. “At a time when market uncertainty and business complexity continue to hinder enterprise decision-making, Anaplan helps the most innovative and influential businesses in the Americas turn data into decisive action. In an environment where continuous disruption is the norm, I’m excited for the opportunity to help even more enterprises outpredict, outplan and outperform their industry peers.”
Anaplan has also added Justin Edwards to its bench of GTM leaders as SVP of GTM Operations. Edwards has a proven track record of running operations for complex global sales and GTM strategies, most recently serving as the VP and Head of Sales Strategy, Operations, and Enablement at Docusign. He also spent more than a decade at SAP, where he held roles with increasing responsibility and scope across finance and sales operations. As SVP of GTM Operations, Edwards is responsible for leading the company’s field operations, enablement, GTM strategy and planning, and business excellence teams, and will be tasked with driving operational effectiveness in service of the company’s growth objectives.
“Effective revenue performance management and GTM operations are critical to any company’s ability to remain agile and focused,” said Edwards. “There is tremendous potential at Anaplan and I’m excited for the opportunity to scale and amplify our impact for the benefit of our customers.”
The appointments of Caragol and Edwards mark a significant milestone as Anaplan accelerates its progress on its multi-year growth and innovation strategy. The company recently unveiled a new standard of AI innovation, including a roadmap to deliver an expanded Anaplan Intelligence portfolio as well as a new suite of AI-enabled planning applications. Today, Anaplan helps more than 44% of the Fortune 50 optimize decision-making.
