MIAMI, FL – November 20, 2025 – Anaplan, the only AI-driven scenario planning and analysis platform designed to optimize decision-making in today’s complex business environment, today announced that it is being recognized as an “exemplary leader” in the 2025 ISG Software Research Buyers Guide for Revenue Performance Management. Anaplan received the highest overall score in the category, and 2025 marks the fourth consecutive year that the company has been identified as “exemplary” across all three major reports: revenue performance management (RPM), sales performance management (SPM), and incentive compensation management (ICM).

ISG (Nasdaq: III) is a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, trusted by more than 900 clients, including 75 of the world’s top 100 enterprises, to help maximize the value of their technology investments and shape digital strategies. The ISG Buyers Guide for Revenue Performance Management evaluates products based on sales and revenue resource capacity, territory and quota planning, incentive compensation planning and execution, sales and revenue forecasting, and the use of data and analytics to identify process improvements. The evaluation identifies capabilities that align revenue-supporting teams, enabling them to plan for and execute against objectives and continually improve.

“To manage revenue effectively, organizations need connected, intelligent platforms that support continuous optimization and agile decisions. RPM has evolved beyond traditional sales performance management (SPM), which primarily served direct sales teams and focused on territories, quotas, and incentives within a single channel,” explains Mark Smith, Partner and Head of Software Research at ISG Software Research. “Today, RPM encompasses all revenue streams — including indirect channels, e-commerce, subscriptions, and renewals — bringing them together under one unified approach. Enterprises should adopt RPM systems that unify planning, forecasting, and execution across all teams and channels to create predictable, data-driven revenue operations.”

“This recognition reinforces Anaplan’s leadership in helping organizations connect every part of their revenue engine from strategy to execution,” said Dan Koellhofer, SVP of Sales Applications at Anaplan. “Our AI-infused revenue performance management solutions give sales leaders a single, trusted view of performance so they can align plans, optimize resources, and make the right decisions, right now.”

Anaplan’s solutions for the Office of the CRO help enterprises move from slow, annual planning cycles to a continuous, agile model that connects all go-to-market teams, including sales, partners, customer success, marketing and services. This approach provides detailed visibility into incentive spend, territory and quota plans, and forecast drivers, giving revenue leaders the holistic insights they need to design and execute strategies with the greatest impact potential.

Across RPM and its three sub-markets of SPM, ICM, and emerging SPM, ISG evaluated 22 vendors based on the key criteria across adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability, usability, validation, and total cost of ownership/return on investment (TCO/ROI). According to the report, Anaplan’s “exemplary” overall distinction in RPM was supported by several factors including, the quality of information provided for calculating TCO, cost savings across the customer experience, and capabilities reflecting strong revenue forecasting features in product experience.
