Anaplan was recognized by Gartner in its Market Guide for Sales Performance Management 2021, a report on the latest trends, developments, and representative vendors in the sales performance management (SPM) market.
This is the first Market Guide that Gartner has published on SPM, following several years of annual Magic Quadrant reports. Anaplan was named a Leader by Gartner in the four most recent SPM Magic Quadrant reports (2017-2020).
Gartner states that “The SPM market grew by 8%, to $1.187 billion, in 2020.” According to Gartner, core capabilities in the SPM technology market “include incentive compensation management (ICM), territory management (TM) and quota management (QM).” In addition to these core capabilities, Gartner notes that “buyers should look at interoperability with other common systems in the tech stack, such as CRM and finance, to support extended planning and analysis (xP&A).”
