Sohan Panta, Avolta: As Avolta operates across the world, it is very important to be on top of all the market trend changes. So therefore, planning for us is very important that we can reflect any changes in demographics or passenger-related traffic quite instantly in our planning tool.
We are across 70 different countries. Anaplan allows easier connectivity for the 70 countries to plan simultaneously. So the company now is able to see the impact of planning straight away, to then challenge on assumptions that are being used in the planning, and also to drive to improve the accuracy of our planning.
We use Anaplan within finance, but the scope is to roll it out to also commercial and HR, and also IT as well.
From the moment of selecting Anaplan as our planning platform, we were able to implement our first budget cycle in just three months. Previously, that could have taken anything up to six months.
What I’m really excited about is the artificial intelligence element to planning and how it can help us with our planning.
