Dustin Furney, Hudsonville Ice Cream: Hudsonville is an ice cream company, with its own manufacturing facility and own brand, that brings happiness and flavor to customers.  

Jared Kraker, Hudsonville Ice Cream: We use Anaplan from finance, supply chain, to demand planning.  

Dustin: Hudsonville Ice Cream has gone through a tremendous amount of growth in the last eight to 10 years, going from one production line to five production lines, 30 employees to 300 employees. With that amount of growth, there’s just been a lot to keep up with.   

Jared: We would struggle to stay in alignment between various functions on what was our real source of truth. Anaplan has provided that source of truth in real time.  

Dustin: Everyone’s clearly looking at the same version and just create those synergies across the supply chain and sales team.  

Jared: Anaplan has really transformed our monthly costing and pricing process. In the past, it would take usually a whole week, whereas with Anaplan now we’re able to bring all our cost and pricing data into one system and get it done within a day or two.  

Dustin: We’re able to use Anaplan to view the costs down at that SKU level. We also use Anaplan for capacity planning at a machine or production-line level.  

Jared: Anaplan has really been able to tell us where are we going from a demand perspective, where are we going from a supply capacity perspective, and where are we going from a financial planning perspective.
