Colleen Sebra is a partner of Ernst & Young LLP in the National Tax Department, focused on Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT). Based in New York City and focused on serving clients in the North East Region, Colleen provides tax advice to multi-national corporations on optimizing their operational execution with organizational and technology-related process improvements.
She serves her clients by leveraging her broad tax background with experience in Tax Process and Technology Assessment and Tax Project Management to deliver customized Intelligent Automation solutions aligned with the organization’s technology strategy. Additionally, she serves as the North East TTT leader for State Income and Franchise tax automation and operational optimization.
Colleen has over 13 years of Big Four public accounting experience and received her Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Georgia and her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina. Colleen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and New York. She also received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
Daren Campbell has more than 20 years of professional experience and became an EY partner in 2008. He is a partner in EY’s Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT). TTT assists clients in responding to changing international, federal, state and local tax law by solving the complexity around extracting, analyzing and reporting.
During his career, Daren has provided services to some of the firm’s largest clients covering a variety of industries including consumer products, aerospace & defense, public utilities, automotive, financial services, life science, retail and engineering.
Daren has a Bachelor of Science in accounting and Masters of Accountacy – Tax from Brigham Young University. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Colorado, New York and Washington DC. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeff is a National Tax Technology and Transformation Executive Director. He specializes in evaluating tax functions, assisting companies improve the design and operating effectiveness and effectively manage tax risk, as well as implementing tax software, remediating significant deficiencies material and weaknesses, and designing quarterly and annual income tax provisions. Jeff has 15 years of tax transformation and tax operations experience as well as business process, internal control, and financial accounting experience.
Jeff also has extensive experience in developing integrated technology solutions that include data collection and data management applications, content management and calculation applications, and business intelligence and visualization tools, as well as other automation applications.
Jeff has conducted tax function assessments which include extensive collaboration with companies and their external independent auditors in understanding and documenting the current state of income tax processes from data collection through financial statement disclosure, including identifying areas of risk, determining appropriate internal controls, assisting in executing implementation plans including future state, enhancement of work flows, roles and responsibility matrices, and the use of tax technology.
He also has implemented tax software including the integration of various software tools for numerous multinational Fortune 500 and Russell 3000 companies.
