You don’t get to be a three-time world champ without some serious planning.

The Giants franchise has won the most games of any team in the history of American baseball, and has the longest sellout streak in the majors since October 2010. Championship planning has paid off for the San Francisco Giants.

Whether you’re interested in talking about business or baseball, join planning experts like the San Francisco Giants’ CIO in the home city of the three-time world champion in San Francisco at Anaplan Hub 2015.

Today we’re excited to announce our sales keynote speaker, Bill Schlough, CIO of the San Francisco Giants.

On Tuesday May 19, get new insights on classic sales challenges as Bill Schlough shares how he excels at planning for a winning team. Starting with core values, mission, organizational objectives, all the way down to individual objectives and milestones. Tying it all together is key and ultimately enables his staff to connect the work they do with the championships they win on the field. We’re excited to have this MVP, “Most valuable planner,” join our all-star lineup.

Schlough currently serves as CIO of the San Francisco Giants. Since his arrival in 1999, the Giants have been recognized as one of the most innovative teams in sports, playing a pioneering role in the world of HD video, mobile content, ticketing, and payment systems. Wireless connectivity has been a primary focus since 2004 when AT&T Park became the first sports facility to provide free Wi-Fi to all fans. Schlough’s IT team has also implemented numerous proprietary analytic tools that helped secure three World Series titles in five years. Schlough holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School.
