Hub World Tour 2014: Eindhoven Wrap-Up

We kicked off Hub World Tour 2014 last week in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Held at Igluu, a shared workspace in the heart of the city, more than 100 attendees joined us for our not-so-ordinary tech conference. The conference spanned across two days and allowed Anaplanners to connect and explore new product features and exciting innovations, including an introduction to the Anaplan App Hub.

Day one of the conference focused on advanced Anaplan platform training and partner roundtable sessions. Over 15 partners participated in the partner roundtable session, which worked to strengthen the network of Anaplan partners across Europe. At the same time, we held one of our popular platform training certification sessions. The platform training session consisted of three groups, and each group focused on either platform fundamentals or advanced training. Breaking the sessions into smaller groups allowed for more individualized, hands-on instruction.

Day two began with a keynote speech by Anaplan CEO Fred Laluyaux and Anaplan CTO Michael Gould.  Several customers, including Vittorio Sanvito, EMEA Enterprise Group Sales Productivity & GTM, Hewlett-Packard, and Merritt Alberti, Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting, joined them onstage.

After a break for lunch, the afternoon sessions began. StepStone, Europe’s leading job board provider, delivered a lively session that focused on target setting and bonus calculations. Jan Heiremans, COO at StepStone Group, led the presentation. A customer panel featuring Eric Groenland, Finance Director at Stage Entertainment and Bas Luten, Finance Director, CSM Bakery Products followed this session. The afternoon was rounded out with a session highlighting real Anaplanners showcasing their Anaplan applications.
