Hub16 London—see what all the buzz was about
Hub16 London on November 9 marked the last stop on Anaplan’s global conference tour for 2016. More than 700 attendees joined us for a day of inspiration and learning for leaders of smart businesses.
The conference began with Anaplan CMO Grant Halloran and CFO James Budge setting the stage for the day’s activities. During the keynote, CTO and Founder Michael Gould shared exciting news on Anaplan’s partnerships with Informatica and Tableau Software. Several customers then took the stage—including representatives from prominent financial services companies RSA Insurance Group, Provident Financial Group, and Aviva—to share stories of how Anaplan helped them become smart businesses. While financial services wasn’t the only sector in attendance at Hub16 London, these companies’ prominence on the agenda reflected London’s status as a global financial center.
The day continued with over ten breakout sessions—many featuring our customers—covering many departmental best practices like supply chain planning, The Anaplan Way, planning for growth, tips from Anaplan experts, and many other topics. To wrap up the conference, BBC Technology Correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones talked with Anaplan founder and CTO Michael Gould about how technology will affect organizations—and help them compete—in coming years.
