What is a “steakinar” and why was it so successful?

The platform for orchestrating performance.

They say time flies when you’re having fun. And that’s exactly what happened on September 24 when Anaplan invited prospects and customers from the Atlanta area to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar for an exclusive executive “steakinar” dinner co-hosted by Deloitte.

Featured speaker Merritt Alberti, Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting, delivered a slide-free presentation about the Anaplan implementation at Hewlett Packard. Through an engaging Q&A session, Merritt answered questions such as how easy Anaplan for Territory and Quota was to deploy, what made the implementation successful, and how much IT needed to be involved. Merritt pointed out that the successful roll out of the new planning tool to a worldwide workforce was done in record time because of senior leadership’s complete buy-in and support.

Many in the room were unaware of Anaplan prior to the invite, but the “steakinar” offered them the opportunity to learn about Anaplan’s extraordinary growth in revenues and employees, innovations, and our continual focus on the customer while helping to relieve their pain points. Our Atlanta “steakinar” left everyone buzzing for more—a sure sign of a successful evening. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s some immediate feedback we received from our guests:

“I look forward to furthering the conversation with Anaplan. The discussion yesterday and testimonials were incredible, and I am excited to see a demo of the tool.”

“I sincerely appreciate the ability to take part of the Anaplan event yesterday evening. The conversation with guests at my table was extremely insightful. The expertise at the table across functions and topics was enlightening.“

“Thank you so very much for the wonderful dinner last night. It was great getting to meet the Anaplan team and understanding ‘who you are.’ I look forward to us continuing on this journey together.”
