Anaplan Appoints Denis Murphy as Managing Director of Americas

Company expands executive team during period of rapid customer growth

San Francisco – February 11, 2013 – Anaplan, a provider of cloud modeling and planning solutions for sales, operations and finance, today announced that Denis Murphy will join its leadership team as Managing Director of the Americas. In his new role, Murphy will oversee Anaplan’s growing sales organization in North America and be responsible for the continued expansion of the company’s sales team.

Murphy has over 20 years of technology sales and sales management experience working in senior executive roles at companies such as Nicira (acquired by EMC), Riverbed (NASDAQ: RVBD), EMC (NYSE: EMC), BlueArc (acquired by Hitachi), and Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP). He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
