Anaplanner of the Year, Visionary of the Year recognized at Anaplan Hub16

San Francisco, May 12, 2016Anaplan, the Smart Business Platform™, named Mark Fremer, Senior Manager of Financial Analysis and Planning at Verizon, the 2016 Anaplanner of the Year for the Americas. The award recognizes a customer’s exceptional model-building expertise, excellence in training and certification, and contributions to the Anaplan community.

Fremer was selected from the inaugural group of Master Anaplanners, a designation given to a select group of users who have demonstrated excellence in model building with Anaplan.

Anaplan also named Michael Carnot, Senior Analyst of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, as the 2016 Visionary of the Year for the Americas for driving planning transformation and value widely within his own company.

“We salute all the Master Anaplanners and the 2016 award winners who are the undisputed experts and innovators in planning,” said Anthony Reynolds, Anaplan Chief Customer Officer. “Anaplanners are early adopters with a skill set that is in high demand who are often recognized internally at their own companies for impacting powerful business transformations.”

The awards were announced at Hub16, the annual event for people using Anaplan’s business planning platform and apps, which was held this week at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. More than 1,500 technology innovators, analysts, and business executives attended, including executives from Anaplan customers and partners such as Deloitte, Kellogg Company, DocuSign, and Splunk.
