Carey Pellock is the Chief People Officer (CPO) at Anaplan. As a strategic CPO, Carey is focused on leading high-performing teams and advancing employee engagement while contributing to sustainable, profitable business growth. Carey has extensive expertise in developing and executing HR strategies and processes. She has developed key HR functions and programs including strategic leadership, HR operations, learning and development, talent attraction and acquisition, performance management, change management, and robust and meaningful communications. She is passionate about building the employee's community and overall experience while continually improving corporate culture to maintain a competitive advantage.
Prior to Anaplan, Carey was the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Neustar where she was responsible for talent management, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and change management. In addition to her 10 years at Neustar, Carey spent 13 years at Sallie Mae in HR leadership roles. She is passionate about empowering her teams to achieve their full potential and contribute to the organization’s success and thrives in a dynamic environment where employee collaboration and success are celebrated and valued. Carey has a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in HR Management and a bachelor’s degree from Strayer University.
